Office Casual Chic!

When I use to work in the wonderful world of offices and cubicles in my interning days, my then employer embraced the whole "Casual Fridays", which I loved! However, I occasionally still opted to wear business wear on those Fridays, just not the "stuffy" kind. I felt more important than just that college chick who was responsible for making sure the coffee was fresh, answering phones, and ocassionally assisted in layout and graphics.

Anyway, here is a look that would fit in any office environment and have you not only looking like just a woman behind a desk, but a bonifide fashionista!!!

Nordstrom Flap Tote, $168, Nordstrom; Chaiken Ruched Turtleneck, $80, Blue Bee; Sterling Silver Square Hoops, $17.99, Macy's; Sterling Silver High Polished Bangle, $102.99, Macy's; Via Spiga 'Wagon' Pumps, $198, Nordstrom; Buckle Belt Skirt, $26.50, Wet Seal; Betsey Johnson Stainless Steel Black Crystal Cuff Watch, $195, Macy's

Hair Recommendations: Personally, I would opt for either a clean ponytail to the back or leave hair hanging in soft curls.

Make-Up Recommendations: One of the best rules for make-up should be used here; emphasis on eyes or lips! You go with the smackers if you have the luxury of having the perfect shade of red lipstick that matches the turtleneck and also looks good on you. If you are like me and still haven't been able to totally embrace the blood color lips, then find a nice deep grey color eyeshadow and follow it with you black liner and mascara. Finish the look with nude lips. Then you are set to make all the other corporate chicas you work with jealous, because lets be honest that feels good!

See Ya!
