Colored contacts or cosmetic contact lenses are produced to alter or boost a person’s outer appearance. It is widely popular, with many Hollywood celebs wearing colored contact lenses, and can be used with or without visual impairments. There are additionally four types of colored contacts to choose between, all with different results and purchasable contacts online.
Your options are the following: Visibilty tints, Enhancements tints, Color tints and Light filtering tints. But it is primarily Enhancements and Color tints that affect or change the color of your eye, more specifically your iris.
Enhancements tint & Color tints
The Enhancement tint contact lens does exactly what its name implies. Rather than giving your eye a complete different color, it simply enhances the existing color. This lens is perfect for people with bright colored eyes since it gives thicker opacity and contrast. Many enhancement tints also include a pattern in the lens so that your unique eye pattern becomes clearer.
Color tints are probably the most popular colored contacts as they offer a completely new color to your eyes. No matter what your natural color is and depending on the brand you normally have more than 6 colors to choose from. If you have dark eyes, this is your optimal alternative since your eye color otherwise would still be visible.
